Where should i place Nold?

The device should be installed as close as possible to the entry zone and as far as possible from metallic elements as they negatively affect the transmission distance of Bluetooth® signals.

For garage doors, the best placement is inside or outside, just above the door. 

For entry gates, Nold should work fine inside the gate opener motor's housing. If you experience a below average signal strength, we recommend mounting Nold in a plastic, waterproof enclosure at least 1.5 metres(4 feet) above ground level.
