What does the inputs do on Nold?
You can use it to hook up an additional open & close sensor for each input. This is an optional feature and it is not required to use Nold. How does Nold Open work?
Think of Nold Open as low-voltage push button and a switch, which is controlled by your phone. Nold supports two operation modes: Pulse mode This is the default option, which works like a push button. You might have a wall switch for your garage already installed, this is how Nold works and connects to your opener. How small is the Nold Open device and is it waterproof?
With the plastic housing and the connector plugged in, the size is 10cm x 5cm x 2cm (4in x 2in x 0,8in). Without the plastic cover, the size is 7,5cm x 4,5cm x 1,5cm. As you can see, Nold can fit into very tight spaces, like control boxes, switchboxes etc... Nold is not waterproof, so if you're planning to use it outside, we recommend using a waterproof plastic housing for Nold.

How many doors can one Nold device control?
Every device has two separate outputs called OUT1 and OUT2. You can setup these outputs as individual devices/keys in the app, so you can control them one by one and share access to them separately. This is useful if you have a twin garage for example, since you can use a single Nold Open device to control both doors.
